The Plot then follows the life of a simple farm boy, Luke Skywalker, as he and his newly met allies (Han Solo, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan C-3PO, R2-D2) attempt to rescue a Rebel leader, Princess Leia, from the clutches of the Empire. It was refreshing to come to this film having seen much of the star wars universe in animation, but having not seen the original film before and it stands up well.  I do like the plot even though it is not original, but it is with spaceships and lightsabers.

Yes I did like this film a lot because it was groundbreaking for this time.

I like Opening act the best where the ships come into view over the audience head, The Music is so iconic, The lightsaber fights, they give a feeling of holding your very own lightsaber and as a member of the audience I felt powerful.

The Characters are Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) a young man raised by his aunt and uncle on Tatooine, who dreams of something more than his current life and learns the way of a Jedi. Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher). Han Solo (Harrison Ford) a cynical smuggler hired by Obi-Wan and Luke to take them to Alderaan in his ship, the Millennium Falcon, co-piloted with Chewbacca. Obi-Wan Ben Kenobi (Alec Guinness) an aging Jedi Master who fought during the Clone Wars, survivor of the Great Jedi Purge, and who introduces Luke to the Force. C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) a protocol droid who speaks over six million languages. R2-D2 (Kenny Baker) an astromech droid who is carrying the Death Star plans and a secret message for Obi-Wan from Princess Leia. And Darth Vader (David Prowse) and (Voiced by James Earl Jones) A Sith lord, second in command of the Galactic Empire, who hopes to destroy the Rebel Alliance.

Yes I do recommend it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars – Flixster/Rotten Tomatoes.
